A Quick Update

Raeni has graciously agreed to drive for a bit on the way home. Probably should be sleeping but wanted to give you all a quick update on the events of this last week or so.
Sunday the 17th, I spoke at Hibbing Alliance church about ENvision Paris. The people there were excited about what is happening and how ENvision is trying to engage young adults in ministry.
Later that day headed down to Big Sandy Camp to be the Jr High Speaker. What a blast.  A tiring blast but a blast. Had a great chance to challange students to pursuse Christ with all that they are! Got to see souls changed for eternity, the kingdom of God gained new members! So excited to see how those students will impact the world for His cause!
Saturday the 23rd we drove back to my parents house to spend the evening there and then drive to Cloquet to share about ENvision with The Rock Worship center. Well in the course of driving around, the transmission of our trusted vehicle chose to go kaput. Not sure what we were going to do we asked people to pray and then… Raeni’s sister offered her car for us to use, Raeni’s parent agreed to drive 8 hours to pick up the car after they drove 20 hours to get there and allowed us to borrow their car to get to Cloquet. My mom also offered her car and we began to plan how to get the van fixed on Monday.
While sharing at Cloquet I briefly mentioned how we were anticipating how God was going to work to provide the van to be fixed. I didn’t know that the Cloquet church has a car ministry that provides the labor and sometimes the parts for cars. By the time lunch was over a plan to fix our van for free was in the works.
My dad ran out and towed the van to Cloquet and we headed back to Hibbing for a fundraising openhouse. Just shy of my parents house we came upon a group of bikers who had crashed and had an injured bikers. Raeni dropped off the girls at my parents and came back and picked up the injured lady and delivered her to the hospital after praying for her.
The open house went well and we took a breif rest and woke up this morning so we could head to cloquet to assist in the removal of the transmission. The transmission came out without a hitch and we started the journey home in a borrowed car and with an extra kid. We are tired, but overly blessed. Only 4 more hours and we will be home!

  1. A whirlwind and many blessings involved as you and many others can see Christ working and moving in your life. As the song goes Trust and Obey there is no other way. Praise God as He is showing you how he is taking care of you through all matters in your life.
